Por despacho de 24/10/87 de S.Exª o Primeiro Ministro e publicado D.R., II série, de 5/11/87, nos termos dos artºs 2º e 3º do D.L. 460/77, de 7/11, a ARCFA foi considerada Entidade de Utilidade Pública.
